서울대학교와 하버드디자인대학원에서 건축을 수학했다.

식물 동물 사물 건물을 통해

공간과 관계의 생기를 작동시키는

물질의 존재 방식과 건축 이미지의 가능성을 사변한다.

이를 통해 산업화 제도화된 건축의 풍경을

새로운 자연과 젠더, 장식의 측면에서 재고한다.

대표작으로는 <노이즈센터, 2023>, <기둥 옷, 2021>등이 있으며

<두껍아 두껍아: 집의 시간>(베니스 건축 비엔날레 한국관, 2025),

<젊은 모색 2023: 미술관을 위한 주석>(국립현대미술관 과천, 2023)

등의 전시에 참여했다.

기획집단 ‘여집합’의 창립멤버로

책 『빌딩롤모델즈: 여성이 말하는 건축』을 함께 썼다.

현재 서울대학교에 출강 중이다.

FLORA AND FAUNA

is an architecture studio based in Seoul and the internet

led by architect Dammy Dami LEE and her collaborators.

Dammy Dami Lee

Architect. Designer.

Founder of the architecture studio Flora and Fauna,

studied architecture at Seoul National University

and the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Lee speculates on

how the presence of matter animates the vitality of space and relationships through the interplay of plants, animals, objects, and buildings, while exploring the possibilities of architectural imagery. In doing so, she revisits the landscape of industrialized and institutionalized architecture through the lenses of new nature, gender, and ornamentation.

Notable works include Noise Center (2023) and Pillar Suit (2021), exhibitions such as the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale 2025, Young Korean Artists 2023: Annotating the Museum (MMCA Gwacheon, 2023). Lee is a founding member of the collective Yeojiphap and co-author of the book Building Role Models: Architecture spoken by women. Currently, she teaches at Seoul National University.
